This site was originally occupied by doctors – Dr Hooper from 1861, and Dr Hoskins by 1871 (who evidently had his surgery across the road at 64 Sussex St).
The photo on your screen shows the house when the Todd family lived in it in the early 1900s. Evidently the Todd house burned down, and the present house was moved to this site in the early 1950s. It was lived in for many years by Maisie Hart (née Stapleton).
