Opposite the Atlas Mine on the east side of the Linton-Naringhil Road, was the Robert Burns Hotel, known after 1871 as the Linton Park Hotel, or Pooley’s Hotel, (after the publican William Pooley). The hotel burned down in 1877 but was rebuilt. The hotel was delicensed in 1912.

Turn left into Fawkner St then right and immediately left into Waverley St.
