This Reservoir provided Linton with piped water from 1882. The water supply was managed by the Linton Water Works Trust until 1994. Water supply is now controlled by Central Highlands Water.

A pleasant stroll can be taken around the reservoir. In the late 1890s part of this pathway was known as ‘Lover’s Walk’.

The photo on your screen is was taken c1900.

Proceed into Linton to the intersection of Clyde and Sussex Streets to complete the drive.
