In 1892, Henry had a large house built on the opposite side of the road to the original home and business, calling it ‘Exby’ after his home in Ireland. This later became the home of his son John and daughter-in-law Margaret. Both houses have now passed out of the O’Beirne family.
The picture you can see on your screen is of the Drying racks at O’Beirne’s wool and skin business at Linton, 1909.
Proceed out of town along the Glenelg Highway towards Skipton. Turn left at the Flagstaff Lookout sign and follow the road to the tower.
