Formed in 1966, with a Ladies Association starting the following year. The teams compete in the Ballarat and District Lawn Bowls Association, and Linton has many Premiership pennants to its credit.
The original grass bowling green was replaced in 2009 with a new synthetic surface for all-weather playing.
