This house, once owned by Bob Wishart, became the home of Martin (Mick) and Joyce Chung in 1954. Mick was a descendant of Wong Chung, a Chinese gold dealer and storekeeper, who from the 1880s until about 1903 operated a business situated on the Geelong Road (now Linton-Naringhil Road), opposite Linton Park.

Joyce was a descendant of the Nicol family of bakers and worked in the bakery.

Turn left along Gillespie Street and turn slightly left into Jackson Street.

On the left is the Edinburgh Reserve. If you wish you can walk through the Reserve. Otherwise, proceed along Jackson St to the intersection with Cumberland St South. Walk up the hill along Cumberland St.
