This modern house replaced a miner’s cottage that was originally lived in by Timothy Gorman, the Linton gravedigger, and his family. His daughter Maggie, born in 1904, was the last member of the Gorman family to live here. She lived here happily with no electricity or running water until her death in 1997. The house was subsequently renovated but unfortunately burnt down in 2014.

Proceed south on the Snake Valley Road, turning right at the Glenelg Highway. Drive through Linton on the Highway and turn left at the Linton-Naringhil Road. Proceed to just south of Fawkner Street.
