This audio-standing explores the “infra-ordinary” of Weimar’s Theaterplatz in the spirit of Georges Perec. We inhabit aplomb, a stance of balance and lingering as a way to listen. Through this alignment a list of the mundane unfolds: birds, words, bells, footsteps. The work merges live presence with a sonic decomposition of field recordings and a weary voice. It is a practice of quietude. It might be boring. We will see. It involves waiting. There is nothing to achieve.
