Josef (1868-1946) und Marie (1868-1943) Schmall waren ein ähnliches vegetarisches Power-Paar wie die Ramharters. Sie eröffneten 1895 das erste Reformhaus Wiens. In dem Kochbuch “Die Zukunftsküche” gab Marie Schmall viele ihrer erprobten Rezepte weiter und leistete einen schmackhaften Beitrag zur Wiener vegetarischen Küche.
