Discover Rostock’s most beautiful and important church (1230). The transept and the nave of the cruciform basilica are the same length and emphasise the cohesive impression of this Gothic church. Here you can marvel at the oldest astronomical monumental clock with the apostle walk (1472) of the Middle Ages, which still functions with its original parts.
Also worth seeing are the altars, the bronze baptismal fountain (1290), the prince’s box with baroque organ, the pulpit, the Marien carpet, the tombs and stained glass windows.
